About the wine:
Carefully crafted using Vine Vale cabernet sourced from 50-year-old vines and aged in barrels for 16 months, the chewy tannins have softened, allowing for a smooth and refined experience. A small amount of local Cabernet Franc and Malbec is added for structure. Layers of deep purple and blue fruits delight the palate, with distinct flavours of blueberry, black currant, raisin, and plum. A touch of spice adds complexity to this exclusive and limited edition wine, showcasing a truly sophisticated and elegant character.
About the Producer:
Sigurd Wines is the brainchild of Daniel Graham, inspired by his great-grandfather's Nordic heritage. After gaining experience in various wine regions worldwide, he founded Sigurd Wines in 2012, focusing on organically grown grapes. Dan's winemaking philosophy revolves around minimal intervention, using indigenous yeasts and avoiding adjustments to acidity or tannins.
