About the Wine:
This Shiraz is sourced from the Magnolia Vineyard in Barossa Valley. It is 100% Shiraz, organically farmed with vines planted in 1996, 2010, and 2017. The wine showcases fresh tobacco, game meats, dried herbs, red currants, goji berries, dark spices, anise, and carbon. It offers a captivating and complex experience with great value for its price.
About the Producer:
In the 1840s, Brett Grocke's (Owner and Winemaker) forefathers planted vineyards near Jacob's Creek in Krondorf, Barossa Valley. As the 6th generation, Brett continue the family tradition of owning and farming vineyards.
Eperosa's motto is "wines built from the dirt up," reflecting their focus on organic and regenerative practices. They carefully manage the vineyards and fruit is handpicked and sorted. Their winemaking follows traditional methods, aiming to capture the vineyard's true character.
The grapes are foot stomped, fermented in small open containers, and aged in French oak barrels. Eperosa has always prioritised sustainability, with an eco-friendly winery design, solar power, rainwater harvesting, and low-impact practices.
